The Steady State

On the limits of science, the code of reality, and why evolution no longer requires pain.

— I —

I drank San Pedro today. I want to say this while I'm still inside it, while the channel is still open. And I want to say it to all of you, because I don't think anyone is saying it clearly enough.

You don't understand what toxicity is, and you don't understand what these plants are for. I don't know if you actually want to learn, or if you would rather just stop using them. To really learn to respect them — to understand what they are and what role they play. It's much more than it seems.

I've been tired of the primal stuff. There's a truth in the primal theory, but there are other layers to what this is really all about. And if those other layers weren't true, these substances wouldn't have the effects they have on your brain. It's that simple. And on your body, on your hormones, on everything.

If we don't learn to respect them, to understand what they actually do, of course we get messed up with them. We just want to use them to get horny, to get high — that's not how it works. There is a way to prepare this plant, to take this plant, and let it connect you to what I am actually connected with right now.

It upsets me — that oh, it's just stimulants and drugs framing. It's so much more complex than that. And I'm so bad at explaining it sometimes. I'm so bad at explaining everything I know. Maybe I'm wrong sometimes, I don't know. But why would I feel like this — feel that the toxicity is really healing something? Because it is. It is healing things in the brain, in the body, in the cells.

I would love pure mescaline. It would be cleaner to just have the pure substance. I know.

I have never used these things without that respect, that connection. That is the whole thing. That is the only way these plants work. Without it, you don't get the medicine. You get something else, and it's not for you.

What I want to say is that I don't believe science alone can achieve it. We've tried. We keep trying. We find a lot of things that slow the aging down — that regenerate a little. But we never find: okay, completely stop it and completely reverse it. And the things we do try out usually have really strong side effects.

One of the most famous attempts was the telomeres. We tried to stop telomere shortening using something we found in nature. We found a few organisms in nature that never die — really immortal. We studied them, and we found that they produce something that keeps their telomeres from shortening. Their telomeres stay long, always, at their full size. They never die from age. They never die from time. They only die if something eats them.

So we isolated that compound and we tried it. On cells in petri dishes — I don't know if they tried it on animals or anything. But every single time they tried it, it turned into cancer.

Because there is a code. And we can't break it like this. We're not allowed. We will never be allowed to do it. Because we don't deserve it. We don't deserve it until we really wake up.

That's why we can only achieve it with our mind. We can't achieve it with any science, any technology — because technology is also our mind, but it's a sick mind. The way the universe wants to be is only when we are completely awake and completely conscious. About everything. About our own selves. About every part of the system, of nature.

When we do that, we just get the information. We are granted. We just know how to do it.

I know it's probably not very clear, but that's the place. That's the place we need to come back to. We left it. We're on the way back up to it now. In multiple ways at once — we can't separate anything anymore. We need stability in our lives in that world too, because that world is part of this one. It's all part of it.

That's why I love to learn coding. Because I know the universe is also code. And maybe coding teaches us through that channel — the piece of really understanding the code of reality, and the code of ourselves. Ourselves and everything are just one. There are really good ideas for AI systems and other things waiting to be built, and I'm going to work really hard the next six months to bring all of this. At some point it is all going to make sense. There is meaning in everything I'm saying, and the pieces complete each other.

And I know — most of you listening will recognize this — you don't have anyone in your life to hold this with. No one understands it enough. That isolation is part of what the transition is asking of us. The question we are being asked is whether we can find each other now. Whether we can find ways to hold this together without breaking each other to do it.

Because there is another way. I know there is a way of finding all of this without that.

Without drama. Without any pain.

That's what I've been receiving these last weeks, these last months — very strong. Evolution just needed to go through pain. So much drama. And I'm speaking about nature — about billions of years of extinctions and rebirth, extinctions and rebirth. I'm not just speaking about the little personal story. Though it's part of it. It's all one. It's all a fractal.

That's why what I've received is: we don't need that anymore. Can we do it without it now? Or do we need one more round? I don't know. I'm okay with whatever. But I don't think we need it anymore — not in our lives, not between us as humans, not between species, not between us and the planet. I don't need it with myself, for sure. We don't need it for evolving anymore, for understanding anymore. There are other ways. And if we find other ways in ourselves, we will find other ways together. Nature is finding other ways too.

And we can arrive at what I always dreamed of — what some physicists have dreamed of too. Some of them thought that what the universe actually is, is always already there. That it doesn't have a real beginning and doesn't have a real end. It's hard to articulate, because they are actually right and they are actually wrong at the same time. And the ones who say it starts with a big bang and ends with a big crunch — they're partly right and partly wrong too. It's very complex to explain and articulate.

But evidently, the goal of the whole evolution, of creation, of the universe — is to arrive at that steady state. Universe in a steady state. Planet in a steady state. Self in a steady state. Everything. And that is what we miss.

I don't think evolution needs to keep going through this. I don't think we have to keep crashing to grow. I think we have arrived at the place where we can just walk.

I don't know why, but every single time I want to make the connection with the religion — every time I try to speak about that — it gets interrupted. The phone cuts off. So I don't know.

Maybe more will come later. Maybe someone else will carry it forward.

Because everything is really like one big book. All of it. The biology, the cosmology, the plants, the code, the steady state — and the religion too. All of it. One book.
